Description:	We are located in Umtentweni just an hours drive away from Durban, 80 meters from the ocean and a stroll from the main swimming beach. Both our units are fully equipped self-catering units. Pinnacles Family Unit is housed in an original 1938 South Coast beach cottage with high- pitched ceilings, Oregon-pine floors and spacious rooms. Sleeping four (2 adults & 2 children) the unit comprises two bed rooms, lounge, kitchen and separate toilet & bathroom. Pinnacles Unit 2 sleeps two and comprises a single bedroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom with shower & toilet. Both units have covered patios and barbecue facilities are provided. Both units have ceiling fans and are wired for DSTV. The main swimming area of "Tweni" is protected by shark nets & has life guards on duty in season. There is a paddling pool for the little ones, a "Granny's Pool for the family and the great open ocean for those more adventurous types, who wish to fish, surf or dive. The local rocks are laden with mussels & sightings of dolphins, whales & sea turtles as well as the spectacular annual "Sardine Run" being an added bonus in winter, welcome to our bit of heaven. Away from the crowds, yet close by to all the necessary shopping facilities, pubs and other tourist attractions. Umtentweni is just before Port Shepstone and easily accessible from the toll road or the Old South Coast provincial road. All the fabulous green turfs of the South Coasts seven world famous golf courses are in close proximity: as close as five minutes to Port Shepstone Country Club or as far as a half hours drive away to the challenging The Wild Coast Sun Course. Oribi Gorge & Lake Eland are nearby attractions as are Beaver Creek Coffee Farm & Clearwater Mountain Bike Trails. All are easily accessible from Tweni & make for a lovely days outing. We experience warm, sultry sub tropical summers & cool winters with the occasional nip in the air. 120 km of beaches with stunning natural beauty and and a general feeling of relaxation abound in our area, so come and enjoy the warmth & hospitality on our coast.
