St Lucia – Before 7am

It is well worth your while to get up early, even if you are on holiday here in St Lucia. Hit the beach just before sunrise. You can find a place to sit and just watch. Believe me doing this is much better for your soul than that extra hour or so sleeping.

The Road to the beach. St Lucia

It is not unusual to see wildlife on the streets of St Lucia. While the hippo tend to attract all the attention,  there are many other small animals about. Take this young Bushbuck for example.  Isn’t it beautiful?

Once on the beach there is always a lot of things to catch my attention.  The non political post I took for Facebook and the washed up Puffer Fish keep my trigger finger busy.

Finally , the Beach March 5

Once on the beach, more birds! Some Love Birds too! The old fisherman is collecting bait, what I knew as Sea Lice, ugly but excellent bait. There is usually at least one Charter Boat going out.

Then the spoor of either a Duiker or a Bushbuck for a photograph From a Different Angle. Come visit!
